It has a bulbous, magma- resistant body resembling a molten flower, with petal- like appendages that shimmer with heat waves. At its center, a glowing, furnace- like core pulsates, expelling bursts of superheated gas to propel it short distances. Its six tendril- like legs are lined with silica hooks, anchoring it to rocky surfaces. The Bloom absorbs geothermal energy and emits bursts of light to attract smaller, heat- seeking organisms, which it ensnares with sticky, ash- covered filaments. Its eerie, fiery âbloomingâ is a dazzling spectacle of survival. The Trading Card background portrays the life forms environment, and fills the entire image area. The card features a filigree, minimalist Art Deco border with interlocking geometric lines rendered in metallic sfumato colors that subtly catch and reflect light.
